Grow Your Hair Strong With These 6 Professional Tips

Posted on June 26, 2022

More than half of all women experience some degree of hair thinning at some point in their lives. Women over the age of 40 who have recently given birth or are entering menopause are particularly at risk. Even if you can get away with cutting your hair short, trying these remedies mentioned below is still worth a shot.

  1. Table of Contents

    • Try Mild Shampoo
      • Oil Your Scalp
      • Try Coffee Mask
      • Amla & Neem Mask
      • Try Rice Water Rinse
      • Maintain A Balanced Diet

    Try Mild Shampoo

The first thing you should do if you notice dandruff is not to rush to the pharmacy and buy a special shampoo. Start by using a mild shampoo to minimise oil production. Don’t forget that allergies and hormonal changes can cause dry scalp and hair issues. Tests should be performed before using anything, as the underlying cause could simply be an allergic reaction to shampoo.

  1. Oil Your Scalp

Oiling hair has a number of advantages, one of which is that it promotes hair growth. You can also choose to massage your scalp while applying hair oil, as this is known to improve blood circulation. Regular hair oiling with the massaging method provides adequate nourishment for your hair as well as an optimal supply of nutrients to the scalp.

  1. Try Coffee Mask

In the case of hair growth, caffeine is beneficial. When massaged directly into the scalp, it prevents hair fallout and improves blood flow to the scalp. The hormone dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which causes hair loss, is blocked by caffeine. Flavonoids, another type of antioxidant found in coffee, are also important when it comes to cell regeneration.

  1. Amla & Neem Mask

Neem and amla are two best ingredients for hair growth that can be found relatively easily. Together, they make an excellent Ayurvedic remedy for hair loss. You can mash them into a paste and apply them to your head. These herbs contain the properties that can make your hair healthy, shiny, and full of volume if you use them. Your hair will benefit from the antibacterial properties of neem, which also encourage healthy growth.

  1. Try Rice Water Rinse

Rice water has been used in Asia for centuries  for healthy hair growth and it is a tried-and-true method. After you’re done cooking, instead of dumping this valuable concoction down the drain, use it to condition your hair. Your hair will not only gain volume as a result of the presence of those amino acids and carbohydrates, but it will also be protected from damage by these components.

  1. Maintain A Balanced Diet

Without food, nothing can grow. What you eat provides your hair with the nutrients it needs to grow. Proteins and vitamins found in foods like spinach, egg yolk, organic protein powder, bananas, and raisins aid in hair growth. High sodium intake, carbonated beverages, and sugar are all hair growth inhibitors that should be avoided completely.
